Why wont display visual elements allow me to check it?

Hey, I'm wondering why the display visual elements wont allow me to check it. Any help would be appreciated.

There is no visual elements on this circuit so the check box is disabled.

I thought this was for showing the name of the inputs and outputs, not for visual elements. When I read all of the help pages I realized what this meant, thanks for the help though.
